NABL Accreditation :
Central Laboratory, Pollution Control Board Assam has been assessed and accredited in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) on 10/02/2023.
About NABL-
- NABL is a constituent board under Quality Council of India, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Government of India, and is registered under the Societies Act.
- NABL has been established with the objectives to provide Government and Industries with a scheme for third-party assessment in Testing, Calibration & Medical Laboratories, Proficiency Testing Providers and Reference Material Producers.

Accreditation of Central Laboratory, PCBA
The Central Laboratory of Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) applied for NABL accreditation in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 “General Requirement for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” on 6th May, 2022. The Central Laboratory has been assessed and accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) vide Certificate No.: TC-11384, having issue date 10.02.2023 and is valid till 09.02.2025.
