Mass Awarness through Print Media
Pollution Control Board Assam has been giving importance on publication of awareness building messages, easy to follow tips to protect environment, article on environmental issues, posters, leaflets, reports etc. through different print media with a perspective to raise awareness among the common mass – more especially among the school students.
Publication of Annual Report

Annual Report,2016-2018

Publication of News Letter
The Board has been publishing its quarterly bi-lingual news letter “Parivesh Batori” almost regularly for last many years. The basic objectives of the News Letter are to highlight the – activities of the Board; important environmental issues, environmental acts, rules and guidelines for abetment of pollution as notified by the concern authority etc. This free of cost News Letter is distributed amongst the different educational institutions, industrial houses, government departments, NGOs and other voluntary organizations, and researchers etc.

Publication of Leaflets
The Board has being publishing leaflets on different environmental issues like – Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Plastic Waste Management, Solid Waste Management, Noise Pollution etc. with infographics and easy to follow tips to deal with the problems almost regularly. These free of cost colourful leaflets published in both English and Assamese languages were distributed among the common mass and more especially amongst the student community to sensitize them on the issues.
